DEEPCORE Starts Recruiting Initial Members for AI Incubation

DEEPCORE Inc. (“DEEPCORE”), which runs an AI-focused incubation business, today announced it started recruiting initial members on February 1, 2018.

DEEPCORE aims to develop young and talented entrepreneurs in the AI field, especially in the Deep Learning arena, and accelerate the adoption of Deep Learning in society. DEEPCORE will open its incubation facility called “KERNEL” in the spring of 2018, and support startups by providing members with a development environment and various support and opportunities in cooperation with various educational research institutions and companies, including Matsuo Lab of The University of Tokyo.

DEEPCORE is looking for talented people who have a keen interest and passion for AI and disruptive innovations. DEEPCORE also welcomes those who have an interest in AI-related technologies in the broader sense and application fields, and the desire to connect them both.

KERNEL’s Benefits for Members

Application Requirements

1.Application conditions

・Students or business people who are 18 or older
・Those who can come to the incubation facility “KERNEL” at a certain frequency

2.Preferences

・Those who are interested in AI and have a certain understanding of Machine Learning, especially Deep Learning
(or a strong willingness to learn)
・Science and engineering undergraduate and graduate students
・Those who are interested in adopting computer science in society

※Freshman and sophomore students, are also welcomed regardless of achievements.
※Compensation may be earned due to participation in projects (assuming a monthly fee of about 100,000 JPY, depending on the project).
※Those working at companies are strongly requested to confirm their employment contracts before considering application. DEEPCORE will not be held responsible for any issues that may arise between employers and employees.
